I was just thinking - it would be wonderful if you would please make additional videos like this one to assist us with remembering even more parts of the brain (not to mention the great entertainment value)!
I have using mnemonics since watching your video and coming up with my own word associations. I have found this to be extremely helpful, so thanks again Michael!!!

Judy: if you've been doing those workshops for 25 years then I'm sure you have helped a lot of parents along the way. I have twins so I understand how difficult it is for siblings to share. I've read both "How to talk" and "Sibling" and they're both great. It's parenting advice that is simple and respectful of both the parent and the child. Thanks for your comment.

Michael,
Thank you so very, very much for interviewing Adele Faber. I have been leading "How To Talk" workshops and "Siblings Without Rilvary" for 25 years. I also work as a parenting counselor and have seen such amazing families emerge as Dr. Ginott's methods and ideas are incorporated into their everyday life. Among many stories I have, is a family I worked with last year. They contacted me because their two children, ages 3 and 5 were fighting constantly. To preserve the peace they had two of everything, a separate but equal type of existence which was driving the parents crazy. I just heard from the mother, the kids are now sharing a room, their idea! She is so happy with all of the changes they have made. I urge everyone to read the books and begin changing the way your family communicates.
Good Luck,
Judy

Esther: thanks so much for your very kind words! I'm drinking my morning coffee and reading your comment - great way to start the day. I like your idea about communication between the sexes. I haven't done an episode on that. Interesting. It's been so fascinating for me to watch my twins - one girl, one boy, both 12 years old now - grow up. Despite anything I might do to encourage non-traditional communication styles, they're following the pretty typical gender roles of our society. Have to do an episode on this, you're right. Thanks for the comment!

I am really enjoying your podcast obsessively! Be encouraged and keep up the good work! You are very interesting, funny, and entertaining to watch / listen to and you make learning fun...which is good for people like me with short attention spans. How can I be involved in psychology without going back to school? I don't think that anyone wants to pay me to sit around and think all day. You should do a podcast on relationships between husband and wife as far as communication goes. I would think that you would have many great conversations with your spouse being a psychologist. I'm bogged by the differences between the sexes in regards to communication. I don't understand why men don't seem to want to talk and have stimulating conversations. There is so much in the world to talk about! Puzzling! :)

It would have been helpful to know more of the information on which the hospitals admitted these patients. The issue with labels is interesting. I guess we want them when they benefit us or bring relief but don't want them if they are perceived as negative. Only in the mental health profession is this such a problem. For so long I couldn't accept I was depressed because I felt people had a negative view of this and that I needed medication for this. Medically, I want to find a diagnosis, a label for my daughter who has an undiagnosed disability. For me, us, it would be a sigh of relief to know somewhat what to expect in the future.
